Harmony of Hues
Škofja Loka | 2023 | 177 m² | 3D – Vividforge
Our interior design team designed a bright and cozy home for a young family in Škofja Loka, Slovenia, titled “Harmony of Hues.” We created the interior design for the modular house by Lumar.
We used shades of gray and green to create a pleasant and tranquil atmosphere throughout the home. The common areas feature a play of various materials and textures, such as wood, concrete, and metal. This creates a visually interesting and dynamic space.
The private rooms boast a combination of lighter colors and parquet flooring. This creates warm and inviting spaces for rest and relaxation.
As remote work is becoming increasingly common, we also paid significant attention to personal home offices. Both rooms have numerous shelves for storing books, as the family plans to expand their already extensive library.
The male client desired a clean and minimalistic look for his office space. We chose a monochromatic dark gray office ensemble accented by concrete-style walls and a combination of fixed and adjustable desks.
The female client desired a brighter interior for her office, as well as a daybed for leisure reading and occasional guest stays. We used a combination of lighter colors, natural light, and a comfortable daybed to create a cohesive space.
Throughout the design process, we worked closely with the architects and planners from Lumar to ensure that the home was tailored to the client’s needs. The use of decorative slat paneling and black details throughout both floors of the house ties the entire project together. The dark accents, together with the harmony of gray and green shades, create cohesive spaces designed for the elegant and relaxed living of a young family.
