Bright Embrace
Ljubljana | 2023 | 56m² | 3D – Vividforge
Our interior design studio has created an elegant and functional interior for our client, tailored to her specific needs. Special attention was given to the flow between spaces and accessibility for users with mobility impairments.
The foyer leads into the main living area past a small utility space, concealed behind an elegant curtain. We replaced the traditional sofa layout with chairs and a dining table in the living room, featuring a thinner tabletop for easier access and use with a wheelchair. On the opposite side, there’s a cozy reading nook with a comfortable armchair and integrated shelves, providing a pleasant space for relaxation. Connecting it all is an attractive kitchen, offering all the necessary elements and appliances despite its compact design. The arrangement and selection of interior furnishings were carefully designed with functionality and seamless wheelchair movement in mind, including access to the terrace.
The bedroom was also meticulously adapted to the client’s needs and desires. A quilted bed, positioned closer to the window, allows optimal access and use of a lift system, and the built-in sliding doors wardrobe doesn’t obstruct movement within the space. We created a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere by incorporating LED strip lighting around the bed.
The selected color palette is a common thread throughout all spaces, creating a sophisticated and serene ambiance. Light and creamy shades with dark accents are dominant, while a feminine touch is added by refined chandeliers, rounded furniture lines, and soft fabrics.
